A.M.S Enviromental Science:Recycling Class

In our Environmental Science class we do the recycling for the school. We pick up the stuff that people throw out and put it to use by doing projects, making papercrete, or taking it to the Recycling Center in Alpine.
We go through a weekly schedule on recycling: Mondays and Wednesdays we recycle which means we have two different crews that go to the "A" wing and the "B" wing; they each have four people on them that go to each room and get the recycling bins. When the bins get filled up the Runners ( two people that go to each wing) pick up the filled bins and take it to the Cafeteria to collect all the recycled materials. When we are done with all the collecting we take it to the Storage room 'till Tuesday.
On Tuesday's, we take all the recycling we did to the Cafeteria again, but this time for Processing which means we take all the recycled bins and put them in empty bins varying from paper to plastic bottles. We have two people that take the filled processed bins back to the storage room and set them in a processed pile then go back to the storage room.
On Thursday's we take all the processed bins and bag the paper in bags, we put the bottles in another bucket and the magazines and plastic go into different bins. Once we are done bagging we put everything away, until next Monday.
Through the different six weeks, we'll get the recycled materials and make a project with them for our six weeks project.
